Welcome to the 2022 Q2 edition of the Pune Learns Newsletter! We have passed by half a year and there’s so much to catch up on! In this newsletter, we cover exciting updates from April to June.

We have launched our new program for children – ‘Beyond English’. This program is a strategic combination of our existing ‘English Communication’ and ‘Holistic Development’ programs. We are eager to watch the students learn English and grow as people through the new activity-based curriculum.
Our volunteers have been trained to look at the curriculum from a new perspective and the classes begin shortly! We will reconvene on starting offline batches in the next quarter, stay tuned!
Core Team Restructure
With the merging of two teams, new faces coming in and some veterans leaving to pursue higher education, our core team now has a new look. We plan to further expand the footprint of Pune Learns with fresh ideas from our new faces! Be on the lookout for open positions!
We’re Recruiting!
We’re looking for individuals passionate about the cause of equity in education to join our team!
We’re currently looking for Volunteers for the Beyond English Program, Mentors for the Mentorship Program and a Social Media Team.
Volunteers for Beyond English – Program overview for Beyond English is present on page 1. Volunteers follow a carefully designed curriculum to teach kids.
Mentors for Mentorship Program – Program overview for the Mentorship Program is present on page 1. Mentors will be responsible for mentoring our mentees for a minimum of 8 weeks.
For both programs, we require a minimum time commitment of 6 months – 1 year and 1 hour per week. You will have the opportunity to interact with the core team and students, mould the students and make an impact on many lives. More details are at the link below.

Social Media Team – We are looking for a Social Media Lead and Associate to manage all Pune Learns social media handles and improve engagement and reach through fun and exciting posts. We require a minimum commitment of 6 months and 1-3 hours per week.
